Kristen Howard is the Managing Partner of the Law Offices of Makupson & Howard, A Professional Corporation, a premier family law firm serving Pasadena and the greater San Gabriel Valley. With over 22 years of experience, she has dedicated her career exclusively to family law since 2002, achieving consistent recognition for her excellence in advocacy and client care. Kristen holds an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell and has been named a Top Attorney by Pasadena Magazine and Lawyers of Distinction. She has demonstrated her leadership through her current role as President of the Pasadena Bar Association (2025–2026) and long-standing service on its Board since 2018. Kristen is a proud mentor in the legal community and has guided newly admitted attorneys while actively volunteering in the Pasadena Courthouse’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Program. Her commitment to justice extends beyond the courtroom through prior work with the Los Angeles County Domestic Violence Project and continued Board involvement with Shero’s Rise and the Pasadena Fire Foundation. Kristen has originated and led hundreds of family law matters over the years, consistently managing a full caseload with skill and compassion.
